I'm new to compressor and was wondering if it could be used to edit 4k MJPEG footage from the Canon 1DC in FCPX without any recompression or quality loss?

FCP X doesn't support that specific codec... yet.
But transcoding to ProRes HQ will not have any quality loss at all.
