Which High quality setting was created by Neil P
Hi team
I've put together a short 1 minute film for a client. I normally host the finished film on Vimeo so compress movie to HD 1080p or 720p but the client this time wants higher a higher quality Quick time movie that they can convert to flash player.
Can anybody time me what is the correct setting for this ie Apple Pro res 422 or 422HQ or should it be an uncompressed setting, 10-bit 422.
I look forward to any replies
thanks for your help

If it was shot in 1080, whatever frame rate, then ProRes at that same frame size and frame rate is about the best you'll get. Uncompressed won't do any better than ProRes. And for HD, ProRes HQ won't do any better than ProRes 422. Now, if you're shooting 2-5K, that's different.
Vimeo re-compresses and degrades quality slightly, as does YouTube, and it all depends on what you feed it to start with.
What camera shoots the original?
