Matrox Compress HD broke with the release of Compressor 4.0.5

Matrox CompressHD software version 2.5.0 broke with the new release of Compressor 4.0.5 Matrox says they are working on it. Just thought those who are using it might want to know before they are get the surprise like I did. You would think Matrox would have it on their "to do" list to check the compatibility of their hardware/software when new releases of Compressor comes out. You would also think they would send out emails to registered users of their hardware/software to inform us that there is an issue. Why in the heck to we take the time to register our products if Matrox doesn't care about its customers AFTER the sale?

Actually, that goes for all other hardware/software companies. WHY do we take the time to register our purchases if they aren't going to contact us when there are known issues? Doesn't seem like it would be a hard task for them to accomplish does it? Im sure they have COMPUTERS, why don't they use them? They can sure send us spam mail when they want to sell us a new product!

But they sure can send us emails ASAP when one of their products update or a new version is out, asking us to spend more money!
