Some nice work. The song kind of grows on you. The effects were good. For me, I really liked the head shots of the band singing with the great depth of field. There wasn't enough of that. I thought the first 2 guys dancing on the street "infecting" the other 2 with the energy was a bit too wide a shot. Their dance moves are really slick & lose some of their impact at that distance. Really liked the brief glimpse of the back of his black shirt with the neon green outline on it. Didn't really get the connection with the Joan of Arc girl on the horse. One of the other high points for me was the scene where everyone was dancing together in a coordinated movement in the street. There was a beautiful bit of retiming there where it slowed perfectly. Was that with FCPX retiming? Elsewhere on this site people have said it doesn't work, but there (if that was FCPX retiming) the slo-mo looked fantastic. It tends to run a tiny bit long, I would trim the intro by half, add more shots of the happy singing band. Good job. Bon travail!

Hi !
Thank you very much for your comments.
Sorry, to answer only today but i was very busy at work these days.
Sorry also for my english. I'm french and i'm not very fluent with english speaking.
@Loui Bond
Thanks again, it's always pleasant to read this kind of sentence.
Who knows ? One day perhaps !
@TrixTrax9000
Thanks for your comment very precise.
Thank you to had taken the time to write this.
I don't understand all that you write but i think i kept the essential meanings.
For the wide (too wide for you) shot, it was like that for accentuate (increase) the duel style and also to show that there wasn't any tricks, all are real without cuts.
And the video is supposed to be viewed in large screen. So the mouvements can be well visible.
Don't hesitate to play it full screen.
For the retimming point, perhaps i don't understand precisely what you say, but i didn't use retimming in the choreographie part in the street.
I used retimming with the girl stand with her hands (the end of the battle scene between the girl and the 2 boys) and with the religious scene.
But, to answer, i made the retimmings with motion 4 with the Optical Flow. And it work honestly.
You can have better result with Twixtor, but i don't have it.
But time ago i worked with Twixtor in some editing and i compare it with Motion Optiacl flow : i had same results (of course with my sources, with others Twixtor can be better perhaps, but i never noticed it)
If there are not many shots of the band, it's because of the lead singer who wanted to focus on the story.
But we mad a long version of the music video, that i will post soon and where you will see more of the band.
Again, sorry for my bad bad english. Hope you had understand me.
Have great times,
Best regards.
