The European Independent Film Festival Video Support

Hi Everyone,

ÉCU 2012

The opening ceremony and the awards presentations for The European Independent Film Festival 2012, which were all projected onto the BIG screen, were made with FCPX and Motion5.

Here's a link for the sizzle reel. Edited in FCPX...

The social media videos shot and edited during the festival, however were edited with FCP7.

FCPX is still too temperamental and fragile for time sensitive get it done yesterday editing. More work needs to be done by Apple to get FCPX ready for prime time...and it will come.

I've edited a bunch of videos with FCPX previously, and after editing all of The European Independent Film Festival ceremony presentations with FCPX and Motion5....I know the possibilities are HUGE for FCPX.

Good luck to everyone!

That trailer was very well done! Shame I miss the festival. Seems there are a lot of interesting films.
