Timeline Tuesday
I've enjoyed cutting as much as I have in my ten years on a debut feature of some talented NY based filmmakers, Victor Oliveira and Jono Robertson, thanks in large part to FCPX. The pipeline followed much of what I learned through fcp.co and Sam Mestman's great resource video from 2013/2014, with the accrued knowledge base from the most recent 5 part posts on fcp.co. This edit started in late January and genuinely benefitted from the flat out amazing implementation of Roles as a time saving organizational structure from day 1. We're landing at picture lock way ahead of schedule, it sounds. Happy to field any questions or share tips gathered along the way! Happy cutting to all.
