New Demo reel containing many camera formats
I’ve recently partnered up with a friend to start a production company, anyway this has forced me to finally after many years put together a demo reel. I haven’t cut a demo reel (other than for actor and director clients) of my work in many years.
I was hoping to get any feedback that may be useful in tweaking the reel. I’ve seen many reels and projects posted to this site and value everyones opinion.
Note this reel was designed to be more music driven and more visual as opposed to like a director or actor reel where the whole scenes breathe more and play out longer.
Some tech notes: contains many different camera codecs, from HVX - 5D - GH4 - GoPro- RedOne/Epic and all cut together in FCPX
Thanks for your time to check it out!

Kyle thanks for the comment!
Most of the clips/projects you see here I shot and edited.
About maybe 10% of the clips in the reel I just DP'd the project.

Thanks I appreciate that! I am proud of this body of work but always thriving to do better..
For this reel we wanted more of a music driven, visual "action" reel showing a variety of styles, genres and projects.
My biggest concern was the time. I always say a music driven reel should be 3mins tops so I hated to go over 4 (IMO director and actor reels can go a little longer).
Having so much material and having been piecing the reel together for so long I really wanted another pair of eyes on it to judge timing and pacing so I appreciate the feedback!

The facility director and I commented to each other way back then that he was going to be someone to admire. Great work my friend, as always. Cheers! You guys are going to do very well for yourselves. We need to get together and chat soon, bud!
Haha Ben yep I remember that class very well! Ahhh the good ol' days...
I still use the techniques and fundamentals that you were teaching way back then (just now in fcpx)
To anyone that ever has a chance to take one of Bens classes don't miss out! You'll come out a much more efficient and knowledgeable editor!

I do think it is fine as is. If someone watches to the end, great. If they only want the first minutes, they're still getting some amazing, beautiful work. I always thought you should go to NYC for better paying work. And I rarely say that to anyone, especially editors from down here. You got it, man.
