short with Bella Thorne for V Magazine -- editing/effects/color/sound in FCPX

hey just wanted to share this short i just made. shot it two camera due to time contsraints with the talent, and then did all of the editing/finishing + color, sound mix, and effects in FCPX.

my editor actually worked in FCP7 and delivered the fine cut to be which I then imported with 7toX in order to arrive at the final version. due to a turnaround deadline for a festival screening, I was mixing the sound/score and adjusting the edit in FCPX as the composer delivered to me.
used SliceX/TrackX extensively to adjust lighting, smooth complexion, and there's a shot outside where you see a close up on her manicure, which was a little grown out but which i was able to fix with TrackX.
really feel like i was able to do about 10k worth of post at least all on my own for nothing
