RnB Music Video for Odanzy

Music video for Odanzy from Nigeria. He's actually a Biomedical engineering student at Temple and music is more of a hobby. We recorded the video the day before he went back to Nigeria for the summer.

While in Nigeria he recorded voice over for the opening scene on his phone and e-mailed it in and I slid it into FCPX. Not sure why that kind of overseas file exchange fascinated me but it did.

great video, for HIS solo you used green screen and color corrected in post to make it blueish or did you use blue gels in your original lighting?

I appreciate the encouraging comment! The bluish tint was done in post. Though not entirely intentional I'm still learning this stuff.

no, it looks great with the lens flare application to the background, we are in the same boat. i don't think we will ever "know it all"

true and its nice to have an outlet to release creative projects worldwide even while we are still learning the craft. I did hear from Odanzy though that based on this zero-budget video two of the larger radio stations in his city in Nigeria are playing his record regularly. Can't ask for much more from FCPX.

that's great news. the interwebz have definitely opened a new spectrum.
