Latest Music video that I worked on.

From RED to Premiere to FCPX and back and right out of DaVinci.

Enjoy but have a cold bier next to you when watching. ;)

P.S. edit was mainly controlled by the Director and I wished we had more time!
But the fans and client love it.

Not sure if I understand your question clearly but it edited (rough) Premiere and them finished (lock) FCP X. All the color grading and render in DaVinci.

Interesting...

If I'm going to use multiple NLE's, I usually start (rough) in FCPX, send to Premiere Pro CC for finish (lock) and then if need I'll go to Resolve for final grade and render, but usually just output from Premiere.

Why is that, what benefit is there vs going from Premiere to FCP X?

In our case the director didn't have FCP X when he did the rough cut being Asia, E-mail the XML and I preferred FCP X working with REDcode on a Mac Pro completed and finished up the edit and send to the color grader and uploaded the master online.

Really wouldn't matter for a project in that size which NLE. But on the technology side I chose FCP X over Premiere. ;)

Very curious why you would start in one NLE and finish in another? What is the purpose? I mean, they all do the same thing, right?

For me was the reason I mentioned above.

Nice work. From what I have seen FCP X and Resolve 11 will make excellent team-mates. They already look the same, so I guess they were "made to fit" ;)

Not really my style of music, but the video made me a bit homesick. Didn't have a Moaß in 17 years.

Very nice edit. The footage itself is a bit odd, but definitely fits in with the style of music.
