I'm doing social service in the local television network of my city, as a part of my final semester in college. They ask me to do a short clip related to the independence day of México:

i use the 'Spin Cluster' and the 'Rotate' Titles (both built in FCPX) for the first part of the video.
Then i use the Trim function with keyframes to reveal the flag. The titles that appear on the flag are from Stupid Raisins Title Pop plug-in, i use the one called 'Deal'.

I just want to add they still use FCP7 and tape in their workflow and the general idea of FCPX as they said, was this one: "FCPX sucks". But actually, nobody seems to even know the interface of FCPX there, because almost all of the editors ask me what program i was using while making this video. So my guess is that they haven't even give it a try.
This is the very first video cut in FCPX there and they were really happy with the results, they even use it in a live broadcast. From now on they have given me the freedom of edit with FCPX. I know this is just a short clip and do not represent all the potential within FCPX for long run projects, however i'm glad i made them curious about the software. Perhaps they start to think different about it.

Certainly serviceable & professional, though not particularly memorable. Title effects were dynamic, didn't notice the flag movement the first time, & thought the pacing a bit slow, but on second viewing, everything seemed exactly right. Good job.

Now comes the fun part, convincing those caballeros that FCPX is mucho mejor.
