Thanks for sharing. I get what you're going for here, & I love the concept, not so much the deployment. A great retro nostalgic look & feel matches the song, & style of your principals (perhaps more so her).
It begins to go wrong for me with the camera's iso, & or low light capabilities, the image seems very noisy in your fall off areas. That's my first distraction. Add to this the overuse of flickers & old timey artifacts, ok we get it. Unfortunately, none of that is really adding anything, it's merely detracting from an image that can't spare much to begin with.
What I would have preferred was a just a well lit silky luxurious black & white high contrast image, not the washed out sepia brown we ended up with. No old film deterioration FX needed, just let the players play, & show them with the best image possible.
Too much of the first half is shot up at an unflattering angle. Once we come up to eye level they look a hundred times better. She really is a doll at this angle, & slightly above the eyeline. She's also a performer which the camera loves. He doesn't really bring that much.
Finally, with one set, one costume, one lighting set up, you're really running out of content, unless they can perform, perhaps some old time dance moves or classic poses, not looking posed, combined with some creative camera moves, could make the 3 minutes sizzle. As it stands... it feels long.

Trixtrax, I have to completely agree with you as far as the length of the video, and the content. They are all things I realized! Unfortunately none of this was planned in any way and this was one of my first jobs...yes the ISO needed a manual on the fly type of control to work with the modular lighting setup indeed, thats why some shots are better than others, I got better at it as I progressed.
As for the noisiness and the flickering, I have to disagree, I love it. It was done intentionally.
And she is a heart-breaker, that one, the groom was way too in love to perform.....hahahah
Thanks for the pointers....

Ohhh yeah that is just absolutely beautiful. But not the look I was going for. The look I was going for was grainy, old, temporary, focused on the couple...and plus you have to consider I am one camera, one man, one light vs "Justin Timberlake Productions"
That video is superb for what it is, but it is not what I was going for, the result of mine (in my defense) was what I was trying to do.
