Marvelous! Thank you, Andreas. This has such a playful commercial sense to it, you could almost sell it as a mobile phone commercial. Very natural performances, the whole film has the look of romantic comedy feature. Some of the shots are just gorgeous, the shoes when they kiss, her kitchen scene, the dog watching the match, your final shot, great coloring too. It's a very happy little film, not quite the weight of your weddings, which is perfect here. You've beautifully created a light courtship dance of love.

If there were any negs, I'd say the position of her arm bent backwards in the bed opening shots, also, why is she in bed in the middle of the afternoon?

Ideal song for this, of course I'll have to use my translator to understand all those texts, but I'm looking forward to their wedding.

really happy you enjoyed it! :)) so you actually like these save the dates than the actual wedding trailers? the shots are muck more cleaner since we have more time to shoot and don't have to hurry like a wedding day! it's much more relaxed!a anyways, Ale(the guy in the video) is a really good tennis player and in those messages, he told her that if she would beat him,he would finally marry her! and when he lost he said "maybe it's time to stop betting"!

Ahh.. now I understand. That's a great back story, I like it. Perhaps I wouldn't say I prefer these to the wedding videos, they're both completely different genres, but I appreciate this style too. This latest one, as I mentioned, seemed very much like a romantic comedy, only real, whereas the weddings are more iconic. Both feature love & are excellent opportunities for you to showcase your artistic skills. The relaxed timeframe can definitely contribute to more controlled setups & shots, but maybe planning can bring some of those special spectacular shots to the weddings too. The one I just can't stop thinking about is that shot we discussed once before. The one with the spinning couple kissing just as they come out thru the door, the petals are falling then we slow it down until we have the petals begin to rise upwards like bubbles in the champagne. Yes it would take planning & rehearsal to get them to reverse their spin at the right moment (or the shooter), but to me, that would be a million dollar shot.

But for the time being, keep the videos coming, weddings, engagements, they're all outstanding. You really should pitch this last one to a cell company in Italy as a commercial, it's very salable. What I would do is trim it down to a minute (also make a 30 second version), maybe have some slightly more upbeat music, show the texting, the game, dog, he loses & so they're together. Then for the final 5 seconds or so I'd put up the logo for the cell provider you're pitching, with some kind of catchy slogan in Italian.

something like ...

"TIM perché avete qualcosa degno dire."

(TIM because you have something worth saying.)

or ...

"Vodafone, le vostre parole sono utili."

(Vodafone, your words are valuable.)

I was thinking of "your words are important" (importanti), then began to chuckle about the great speech from Gladiator "What we do in life, echoes in eternity." Your words echo in eternity, might be a bit too heavy for our light hearted subject matter here...

You can probably come up with a much better slogan that fits your culture & vernacular, I'm just using the little Mac translator.

Then I would do the exact same thing with Vodafone, Wind, H3G, CoopVoce, every one of your top 5 or 6 cell providers. All you're changing is the final logo & branding. Of course you'll have to do some research to make sure you can get your proposal to the right person there, Director of Marketing or similar.

See if you get some interest, sell to the highest bidder. All you need is one commercial sold, then you can expand into a more lucrative market. Weddings are lovely, but big corporations pay more & get you noticed. Also, commercials can be a launch pad. Who can forget Ridley Scott's 1984 Apple commercial? Just look at him now (Prometheus aside).

I too liked Prometheus, unfortunately it was critically panned & box office deficient.
