A buddy of mine cut this for a local university using FCP X.
Interesting sidenote: my friend works for the university's internal television department. Although this was cut on FCP X and he enjoys using it, the university will be looking to switch over (probably to Avid) in the coming year.

I liked it, interesting mix of images, technically passable, though I would have run that opening tram shot thru the FCPX stabilizer, as there are couple of little jarring shakes. The timing, pacing, editing, transitions all seem to fit the piece perfectly. I kind of liked the first fade to black. Was almost certain that voice was coming from a black rapper, so curious surprise later. My feeling while watching was that I wasn't 100% onboard with all the writing. Some of it felt a tiny bit... I'm not sure, I don't want to say contrived, but like it could be tweaked lyrically somewhat. The best rhymes have a certain level of cleverness that grabs us.
Nice work, thanks for sharing.
