Is anyone using Compress HD with FCPX and Compressor 4? was created by RonPriest
I was just wondering if anyone else here was using Compress HD with FCPX and Compressor 4? I just started using it today on my old MacPro and it seems to be working okay. I was concerned that it wasn't yet compatible with FCPX and Compressor 4, but Matrox's website seemed to indicate that is was and I didn't see anyone writing about any problems in their forums.
I suppose it's common to be required to reestablish or re-save my droplets as the old ones were created in the previous version of compressor.

Interesting about Dropletts. I'd never thought to test that out. HHmmm... Could be.

I have the Matrox MX02 with Max, it works great! Also if you do single pass on the compressHD it will really move through your footage really quickly.
If you are missing your custom compressor settings, in compressor 4, you can copy them over from compressor 3.5 or before.
Here is a link to @BenB's tutorial about moving your settings, but you will have to re-create all the droplets at least to my knowledge.
