External SSD drive was created by Albo

I use regular 7200rpm external HD on my recent iMac.
Just wondering if would it make a difference if I edit off a SSD ?
Any recommendation for 3 to 4T SSD external drive?

Thanks

SSD is faster than spinning disk.
RAID spinning disk is faster than single SSD.
RAID SSD is faster than a speeding bullet.

Elgato, MacSales, G-Tech, any known brand name. Just be aware SSD is more money for less space, but you get some speed.
