KeyFlow Pro 2 Released
Start with only $49.99 (USD) for Single Users.
Scale to Server from $149.99 (USD) for Teams.
Sounds like the server function will be 200 USD.
What's new in version 2.0
All libraries created by previous version of KeyFlow Pro (1.x) are compatible with the version 2.0.
First, the databases of the libraries need to be updated to the latest using “Sync Database” in the version 1.8.5
BEFORE opening them in the version 2.0.
[Caution] Please do not open the same library in KeyFlow Pro (1.x) and KeyFlow Pro 2 at the same time
in order to prevent database corruption.
What's new in version 1.8.5
What you guys think about it?
Still missing form my point of view, Merida Management as in moving files from location to another, website or iOS support, User management over OD.

Surprised that no one has answered yet, I guess Keyflow use not used by many.
I really don't see a reason between the latest 1.8.5 and 2.0 except pricing and look.
Pricing is BS in my book if hey wanted to offer a better pricing just change the price and don't make users that already own it pay extra 200 bucks!
Also I was hopping of Media Management application a better media management. Still not possible to move media and relabel disk labels. Move fro one drive to another should be standard for this kinda application.

I am even more confused as before...
I have 5 clients and one functioning as a "Server". When upgrading does that mean I have to purchase 6 individual 2.0 Client licenses and one nN App Purchase for server or do they all have to upgrade to the server licenses?
ANYBODY here using Keyflow Pro 2? Not receiving and replies from Keyflow Pro support.

Finally I have a bit of free time to comment on this topic, excuse my english …
I have to admit that if like me, you have just purchased the original version and are still in early implementation and structural organization of watch folder and storage destination including live folders, it is a bit frustrating to see the 2.0 release news, even if for a year things should be quite stable and the difference between the two versions should be be marginal; but we are still in a sort EOL situation. This is not typical of the FCPX software ecosystem.
In my situation most KeyflowPro libraries are shared to other users and I think that this won’t be possible anymore.
The « move asset command » should be available in the « workflow » choices but you can still copy and add a special tag « ToBeDeleted » , search for it and delete the resulting assets which equals to a move …heavy but secure path
As for the new pricing, the cost for a 4 users and server is the same as before so you loose 1 user in that deal.
I think however that for a very small shop, the one user deal is a great start:
1- One person can ingest, transcode, log ( keywords, favorites, roles, metadata) a huge quantity of media for long run documentaries and always have it ready for FCPX with correct metadata. KEYFLOW PRO makes that easy and now mostly very affordable for one user , the « library » can reside on one external disk and moved around. Always Clone your disk…
2- KEYFLOW PRO can also export small previews to use as editing files and they can afterward easily be relinked to the full size original media and that is HUGE for people on the run. Surprisingly this is less risky than an external FCPX proxy workflow that might not relink…
I just wish there would be a late buyers upgrade coupon to have us benefit of the new features to come…
