mObject 3d tracking?

Hi, I'm completely new to 3d VFX work... yeah. I'm new. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew the process of getting 3d tracking in Motion 5 with mObject. Does mObject provide the ability to do 3d tracking? Or do you have to get another program, and if so, what one (budget friendly if possible) would you recommend?

I do not believe that mObject provides 3D tracking functionality, which is really a bummer.

I know that Mocha (while expensive) is supposed to be great for tracking, and I know that it is compatible with Motion 5 as well.

You could also try your tracking in Blender and see if that works. If you're just trying to overlay some 3D titles over imported footage Blender can give you great results!

I know that motionvfx used Synth Eyes for there demos.

Ah yes, I believe you're correct!

Synth Eyes is supposed to be pretty great, but I'm not a fan of their licensing. Mocha would definitely be a better deal in the long run.

I have had a lot of success tracking 3d text from mObject to the ground using TrackX from coremelt.

So, besides blender there aren't really any free 3d tracking programs, correct?
