Quest for the perfect plugin was created by standandstare

This is my first time posting on a forum so please excuse me if this is in the wrong section! My knowledge of plugins is limited, but what i want to achieve is very spesific - the makings of a frustrated editor!

I am trying to find a plugin that can create the effect shown in this video below, from 00.43. I am trying to achieve the multi-coloured edge glow.

Any advice, plug in suggestions or tips on how i would achieve this would be gratefully recieved. I run fcp7, fcpx and after effects.

Many thanks!!

Jose

It looks like an RGB spread/blur.

These may help.

Raisins are the worst and I love making fcpx plugins !

CHV has a fantastic plugin that does that and more.

It is the "CHV Channel Position RGB" effect in this bundle.
