5 band transition with 2x8 options 13 Oct 2016 16:13 #80732

I know EXACTLY what you mean .... LOL ![]() Nice transition … Meant as a suggestion: consider usage of the SEQUENCE REPLICATOR, less complex, have a look: publish its manyfold settings or rename them by rigging (to/from gets a better descriptive 'right/left'). To have something to play with, attached demo file. |

5 band transition with 2x8 options **UPDATED** 14 Oct 2016 07:25 #80745
Updated version with better GUI.
If you have a folder named Kenneth in ~/Movies/Motion Templates/Transitions, then delete the 5 band and 5 band mask folders and copy in the new versions attached in this post. If you don't have a folder named Kenneth, extract the attached file in ~/Movies/Motion Templates/Transitions |

diff. speed for each band - no. For sure, you can adjust the 'spread' of the bars, but that is 'global' for all. Setting a diff. Traversal gives slightly individual speeds, example when you ease-out the movement, the last bar comes a lil later than the others... Generally spoken: replicators and esp. the Sequencer are meant by concept to … ehm, replicate=multiply by copy one. If you want to control each bar individually, your concept of individual masks is superior. You could link all 5 bars to one 'custom' behaviour, to allow sequential action AND individual one.... don't forget: you can 'record' keyframes for rigs! A very powerful feature in M5... have a look at my tut, around 2:30 ... ok, key framing the cam, but works with any other keyframable parameter too. |
