My son asked me, after he seen the "PinkMania" template to build a CD template too. I tried to build it without a dedicated font, but the result was not satisfactory, so I designed the font and I have to say that the 3D model came out pretty good.


My son's second request was to make the images simple to change.
To make this possible I added some drop zones for cover and CD label. The images measure about a thousand pixels in height for the cover and five hundred pixels for the Cd label, but don't worry there are pan and scan controls for adjustments. In the published parameters you can make visible and animate both the CD and the case, I also added the lid opening.


Unzip the attachment install the dedicated font “ZPL-CD.ttf ” and put the “CD” folder in User / Your name / Movies / Motion Templates/ Generators / Pielle
This time I did an animation with some CDs of Steven Wilson both with Porcupine Tree and alone and as a soundtrack an excerpt from the song routine. The presence of the pulsating dual heart is to represent the duality of his music.
