Connor’s Katana: Real 3D Motion Model was created by Pielle
Connor’s Katana the famous sword of "Highlander". I've built a replica in Motion after a joke with Mahoney.
I've tried several solutions for The blade and for the hilt, and finally I choose to draw a dedicated font and most of the textures. The model is very hungry of memory, so handle with care.
As usual This is a FCPX Generator so unzip the attachment, install The "ZP-Katana.ttf” font in system and put the folder “Connor's Katana” in User/ Your name/ Movies/Motion/Generators/Pielle .
Thank again to Mahoney for the inspiration and be careful the blade is really very sharp
