Here's a simple "framed picture" .
In published parameters have been forced to choose a hierarchical order for the frame materials. In the background, always on, the “plastic layer”, in the middle the “wood layer” and on top the “Finish”. The layers are activated with the corresponding checkboxes, experiment with various combinations. Below there is the check box to activate the front glass.
Unzip and put the folder “Framed Picture“ in User/ Your name/ Movies/Motion/Generators/Pielle
have good fun !

Following the changes introduced in Apple Motion 5.3, this model does not work very well anymore. In attachment the compliant update.

Some parameters can be keyframed, some can't.

The main parameter that I was interested in is keyframing the 3D rotation of the frame, which is missing.
Thanks anyway.

Sometimes they don't show up until you mouse over them. Do you have the latest version of the generator and FCPX?

I think I found the problem, the keyframes do not exist in the text animation tab, see attached.

No, that's Apple's space, they don't keyframe a lot of text parameters. All developers can affect is the Published Parameters tab.
