ScreenStitch+Lite

This is a product that is valuable enough to be able to sell full price. It's a dual split-screen effect for FCPX that allows you to move and rotate the divider bar as well as control the other parameters.

In the past I'd voiced my dislike in these forums, for having to sign up to get a free offer. However, quite a few months ago I did sign on for CineFlare's newsletter which I find to be excellent, always informative never intrusive.
