I really like the plugin, saves me from going outside of FCP X for simple rotoscope-type work. However, for the next version, in addition to auto tracking, is it possible to add the ability to do a manual/frame track?

You can already manually track/keyframe in it. You can manually tweak the track it creates for you.

Let's say I track a paint stroke. But one point it isn't perfect. I move the playhead to that frame, manually move the tracking square, it's then reset the tracking keyframes in that frame to what I did manually.

Hello! I see no one has posted here in a while but I thought I'd give it a try. I see someone suggested that you can track manually by moving the tracking box but it seems whenever I try that all I get is another paint spot. I'm not sure how to communicate to the software that I want ot make a change, not create a new spot. If anyone knows of a tutorial that goes into detail for this product, let me know.

Same here. Can't find any information on how to change a frame of the tracking.

Hi, actually the current version of PaintX doesn't allow you to combine tracking and keyframes. This will be added in a future update

See, I do this all the time in the SliceX and TrackX. Looking forward to getting it in PaintX, which I use pretty often now.
