I didn’t expect this to work, but wow, it does. Genius.

Good that TVs have reached a place where they can act as decent monitors. Given the right room layout, I suppose mounting it on a wall above the computer monitors, angling it down, would be the best layout.

but what about:
1) TV legal range only (most footage is full range though)
2) HDMI 8bit 422 (and no apple color sync)
3) not calibrated to BT.709
4) nor sRGB (all things web)
5) refresh rate either fixed to 60hz or variable (does it work with native 24/25p?)

Sorry not to see this question sooner. While I'm not too concerned about the calibration (you can get it pretty close manually) and I do want a wider color gamut than sRGB and BT.709, there does seem to be an issue with banding in some Photoshop gradients, possibly indicating 8-bit rather than 10-bit. I'll get back to you if I can find any more concrete info, but in normal use there's no problem at all and I'd still recommend it.
EDIT: banding fixed! On this LG OLED, there's banding in the ISF Expert Dark Room setting, but not in the ISF Expert Bright Room setting. I can't find a specific setting within either of those that could be causing the problem, but perhaps that's a starting point for anyone else facing the same issue.

Great! I used a 60 inch television eight years ago - although no oled by then.
Now I am working on a 40 inch monitor with two additional 32 inch Monitors connected to either side - one for viewing my broadcast HD footage via breakout box..
