It is very rare I actually edit with ProRes, and when I do, I never have issues, so don't understand why ProRes needs a hardware encoder. I've done ProRes multicams without issues. I don't get it.
I use a Mojave MA-200 for my voice work. I highly doubt built-in mics will match that. When I get $5K to spend, I may get one. |

Hello.
Im really doubting what to do and dont want to make the same mistake i made with buying the M1 mac mini. Im intoo video filming. Mostly with my iphone's. When i stick with 1080P on the mac mini, no problems at all. But soon when i switch to 4K HDR/DolbyVision or pro res this becomes nearly impossible. The mac mini get's so slow and after a while all i get is the wheel of dead and need to use the "forced stop". Now i am doubting between the macmini M2 pro or the mac studio. I searched on youtube, google, but i cant get a clear advice. Anyone that can help me? |
