Today at the Apple event, we got to see the new iPhone 13, with new features that will certainly appeal to filmmakers and mobile creators. Yes, Final Cut Pro and iMovie will be able to refocus movies recorded on an iPhone 13 Pro!

Anyone know the quality of ProRes? ProRess LT? ProRes 422? ProRes 422 HQ? I doubt get ProRes Raw...but one can dream right.

From the Apple official specs, it looks like the Cinematic Mode is limited to 1080p at 30fps. I really wish this was available for 4K recording...

4k/30 ProRes is available but only on phones with 256GB and above. The 128GB phone is limited to ProRes at 1080p/30. Not sure about frame rates in other countries.

They said it would be a pro workflow, so it should at least be 422HQ. ProRes RAW has the same bitrate and ProResRAW HQ has the same bitrate as ProRes 4444. ProRes RAW might be an iPhone 14 feature, so we have to buy new phones ;-)
