Nice writeup and I appreciate this app. This is a welcome addition. For years I have been using an apple script called "Compressor SMS Notification" to get Apple Compressor to send me a text message when a job is completed.

Nice article Peter! There is also CommandPost which allows to get Mobile Notifications (Prowl, Pushover & iMessage) and Apple Watch & Android Wear notifications (via Pushover). Although it only works for FCPX.

Very nice! CommandPost also has a similar feature for FCP and Motion.
