Magnifying Glass effect

Hello,
It's my first time posting on this forum, I've been a long time reader though.
For my first post I wanted to share this effect I built in motion and that I use a lot when I'm editing some corporate training.
There's probably a ton of magnifying glass effect already available out there, I didn't check to be honest.

Don't hesitate to give me feedback on the controls and the construction of the effect.

How long have you been using Motion?

About two years now.
It became my main compositing tool (still using AE for a few things)creating templates for FCPX is really handy.

I'm a big fan of your plugins by the way.

You ain't kiddin about it being handy for templates!

Do you have a website I could check out?

If you haven't installed Final Cut Pro X plugins before, use Andreas' Motion Template Tool.

It is free to use, but he would appreciate donations.

The 'Roundness' control is for when the magnifying glass is rectangular.

Unfortunately I have no website yet
Most of my work is for internal use only. The only things I did externally are a few promo videos or tutorials for customers.
I did most of the videos of this youtube channel.
It was a small project in my company (blizzard). The goal was to provide informative/promotional videos to customer in a funny (and a bit quirky) way while keeping the production under a week (most of the time).

I'm fairly new to professional editing. Always been one of my hobby but I never thought it could became my job.

I realise you posted this a couple of years ago, but I just wanted to say thanks - this is exactly what I've been looking for, for a short promotion piece, and I've been struggling with time constraints to make my own effect. Perfect for what I need, and nicely done. Thanks again!
