Final Cut Pro X; Pro Workflow, JUST released!

This is the book from the guys who did post-production for the film Focus, staring Will Smith. So far what I'm reading is really interesting. For only $9,99 it is a steal. Check it out, very fun information.

Darn! The book is currently not in the Taiwan Apple Store!

Apparently not on the Russian store, according to a fellow ACT. But there is a Kindle version coming out soon, too.

Now that I've read it cover to cover, be aware, this is not a "how to use FCPX" book. This covers the discoveries and workflow schemes of the post-production team who edited Focus. Lots of film jargon, lots of technical information. If you're not familiar with feature film post terminology, you could get lost. But it is really great information, and will be a huge help to many folks wanting to implement FCPX into a large post workflow. Super good read, highly recommended for those interested in this aspect of using FCPX.

Thanks Ben for the heads up. FCPX is being used here in TV a lot now. How times change.

My blog review of this book is up. Click here!

Thanks for sharing, Ben!

Excellent review!
