A Little Help?

Anybody know how to create a 4x3 safe area in a 16x9 frame that can be used as a guide in FCP X? I know you can turn it on in Motion, but no such luck in FCP. If anybody can create something that will make that work, I'd be forever grateful.

I made and posted this in a hurry for you so I forgot to say that this is a title effect so you can put it across multiple clips in your timeline - make sure you put it in your Motion Templates/Titles folder - not in Effects. Then use it as an overlay (as you would a title).

Thanks! I figured it out by looking at the .moti suffix (incredibly.. I had no idea before) after dropping it in effects first. Again, thank you very much!

Another idea... Is it possible to create a scrolling text lower third (think news broadcast, sportscenter, etc.) where you can type the text in a box and set the font, scroll speed, background color, maybe a gradient or image?

I've had a first go at this and posted it - let me know what you think and thanks for the suggestion.
