Looking For Help Getting Started With Motion 30 Apr 2023 21:11 #125157
Hello,
I have used FCP for a while now and have been able to achieve some very good results with it. I recently tried using Motion to create some animations, and I am having a heckuva time getting started. The tutorials I have watched all seem to assume that I know more than I do. I am missing a few key things that are preventing me from getting some simple effects done. Would there be anyone here on the forum who would be willing to hold my hand a little and help me with some basic questions? I sure would appreciate it.. |

Look for Ripple Training on YouTube and their website has what I consider the best training materials for FCP and Motion. I’ve used their stuff since Legacy FCP and I highly recommend them. I hear many stories of people “not knowing FCP/Motion did that” when I learned those same things within an hour or two of Ripple training.

Thanks guys for the replies.
Let me give this a shot.. I am trying to create a spinning logo that swoops in a big arc and scales up in size as it goes. I have it spinning ok, but I can't seem to get the change in size to work at all. Can you tell from my screen shot what I am missing here? |

Hello,
In the video linked below, I demonstrate how to create a dynamic logo animation using Apple's Motion Software- all without the need for individual keyframes. I'm eager to hear your thoughts and feedback on my approach, so please don't hesitate to let me know what you think. 🙂 And, if you have any questions about the tutorial, feel free to ask - I'm always happy to help. 🙂 vimeo.com/manage/videos/822809599 https://files.deyson.com/WkZiS836 While you're here, please be sure to visit my website at deyson.com and motionmastertemplates.com for even more design insights and inspiration. |
