I've created a simple generator that the editor will use as a lower third when there's a certain VO playing.
It's made up of three elements - animate on (1 second), stays on screen while a waveform animates (variable) and then animates off (1 second).
Nothing needs to be customised except the duration of the generator to match the VO's duration.
I'm aware of the markers in Motion used to protect the playback speed of the intro and outro but I also need the waveform animation in between to be protected and not retimed.
I had planned to build a mandatory build in > Loop Point < mandatory build out but now understand that frames after the loop point are never played.
Is there a way to do this? Perhaps there is a way to animate a super long waveform duration, and the build out marker just cuts into this animation as opposed to speed ramping the waveform to fit in - if you understand what I mean?
Maybe you could make transition templates for the build in and build out parts of the animation and then use project loop end for the main template. It just means you would have to make sure those transition templates work well with the main project template.
