TOPIC:
How to space out keyframes evenly in motion and possibly Final Cut Pro as well? 02 Oct 2022 10:23 #122347
So I am curious if there is an easy way to evenly space out keyframes in FCP and motion. What I mean by this is let's say I have 4 key frames that are going up in intervals of 25% over a 10 second time period. I would like them to all be 2.5 seconds apart so they are evenly spaced out. Since I know spacing can speed up or slow down how the animation of said objective moving can look. I did try looking online for this but honestly could not find anything sorry if it was a simple search!
Thanks for all the help it is much appreciated thanks! ![]() |

I don't know what you are trying to accomplish, but in Motion you can change the interpolation of the keyframes, so that you just need the origin and the end point (2 keyframes), and you adjust the speed with the different interpolation.
I don't know if you can do the same in FCP though |

Thanks for the reply have no idea what you are saying on how to do what you said to be honest. But I did find another way! I was making a circle appear and it was coming up to quick so wanted to learn how to space multiple keyframes t slow it down or speed it up for future animations with keyframes.
