Hello,
I have two lines and a hand. I want to articule them on the anchor points.
Shoulder, elbow and hand.
When I move the shoulder the whole arm will move together.
When i move the elbow. The hand moves together.
They are all linked but can be moved separately.

Can I do this fairly simply in Motion?

Animating a character.

Yes, it’s easy enough I think. Put the anchor point of the hand on the wrist and place it on the lower arm line and group them. Place the anchor point of the group on the elbow and place it on the upper arm line and group them again. Place the anchor point of the top group on the shoulder. The top group moves the whole arm, the next one down moves the bottom part of the arm and the hand and the hand is moveable on its own. All theory, I haven’t tried it but it should work.

Yes it works.
A bit labor intensive because of the keyframing.
It would be nice if in some cases Motion would have an ease in and out without diving into the keyframe timeline.

Thank you.
