Behavior to mimic dvd logo bounce and change color

Hello all,

mimicking the dvd logo bounce:

I have figured out how to make a logo bounce around a frame using the edge collision behavior plus the throw behavior. The thing that is stumping me is how to link a behavior that would have the logo change color ever time it hits the edge. In total I have 5 colors I want it to change to.

You might have to manually keyframe i guees, unless someone comes up with better idea. A vague idea might be, add a fill filter and link or play with the mix setting.

Thats exactly how I ended up achieving it. Just key framed a corner bounce.

Project has been completed but if something like this comes up again I will play with it.

I did what I think you're looking for a tad easier, just for fun, doesn't really address your OP. Apply a Random Motion plus Edge Detection behaviors to your logo. I did have to change the Random Seed on the Random Motion a few times to get rid of any "curves" in the paths, but works just fine, super easy. Attaching project. Since there's no parameter in Motion to detect the collisions, yes, you do have to keyframe the color changes.  But at least you can see the Random Motion path and get to those bounce points really quickly.
