FCPX slow after importing Captions

FCPX slow after importing Captions was created by docsound
Hello,
on my 2h timeline I'm currently editing only audio files and some video (working on an radio edit here). Video files are only ProRes Proxy and Audio files are WAV. Everything worked flawless on my Macbook Pro M1 Max 64GB. All files are stored on my internal SSD. I have enough free space on SSD and RAM.
But now after importing and working with captions, I'm getting constantly the Spinning Wait Cursor when trimming the material and sometimes FCPX even crashes when I want to edit a subtitle.
What happened to FCPX, that is now performing so badly with captions?
I'm running macOS 14.0 and FCPX 10.6.9 or 10.6.10
