all LUT's turn out horrible on in FCPx

MY LUT's don;t work on FCPx. 
I created them from presets (the color grading looks great on photos), and they work great on other software like CAPCUT, but they don't work in FCPx.

I shot the footage in { The codecs = MPEG-4AAC, H.264; colour profile = HD(1-1-1) |

I get that there is already a color profile on them, but I just want to add some stylised effects, that match the way I edit my photos. BUt I'm at a complete loss. 

How are you making those LUTs? What format are they?

LUTs generally work just fine in FCP, I suspect your process is the issue.

Never had LUT probs in FCP even those of my own creation but order is important. Need to be placed last in the node tree (DR) or at the bottom (FCP) of all your other color effects.
(Color Board, FilmConvert, Color Finale w/Bornite LUT in various orders.)
