Ken Burns Effect - SNAP to Grid?

When adjusting the sizes of the green & red, beginning & end boxes, the dragging controls seem to be snapping to an invisible grid.

This makes precise adjustments, impossibly frustrating. Is there a way to turn this off, so I can resize the boxes smoothly?

Hold down the Command key while dragging to disable the snapping (just tested this, FCP 10.6.9) Smooth as butter!

Thanks a lot dmetz, not sure how you found that, but works perfectly, even in my not so up-to-date version.

Like you said, smooth as butter, not only for the resizing, but also the placement of the boxes, that was snapping before, too.

Much appreciated, that was causing me a lot of grief.

Searching for these things online, one has to know the precise terminology, or you never find it.

This trick works in a few different apps, though sometimes it's the Control or Option key instead of Command.
