Why are CAPTIONS not visible in a COMPOUND CLIP?

Hi, I've been working on a project and have added captions to a clip. I turned this clip into a Compound Clip and placed it in my main timeline. However, I'm encountering an issue where the captions that were visible in the original clip are not displaying in the main timeline when it's a Compound Clip.

Does anyone know why captions aren't showing up when the clip is in Compound Clip form?
