FCPx freezing when waking up from sleep with breakout box UltraStudio Monitor 3G

I try to edit a documentary on a new macbook pro max m2 but everytime the system wakes up from sleep when the UltraStudio monitor 3G is connected, I see the wheel of death and can only force the application to close. Did anyone have the same problem? The breakout box is connected directly to the TB port - not through a hub as this could cause additional problems. 

I can find several issues with the UltraStudio Monitor 3G in different forums, but nothing concerning FCPx and sleep mode.. Does anyone use the card does it cause the same issues?

The only solution I see for now is to "prevent mac from sleep when displays are turned off" while editing - I guess thats the recommended way anyway for most users?

If by accident it goes to sleep I can only disable A/V Video output, then pull the Breakout Box out and reconnect it and then reactivate A/V output. If I hit play by accident before doing so FCPx crashes.

For this particular issue, have you tried connecting the device to a reliable, powered Thunderbolt hub?

Thanks for your help! I did, I have a brand new one here. Its the same. Do you have a breakout box via TB as well? Does it work after sleep mode?

No, I don't. Sorry. I have a PCIe-based output solution/device. I was just suggesting another thing to try...
