FCPX on 2 OS's? was created by thp
I have 10.6.8 on one drive running fcpx. I have another drive that I just installed 10.7.5 on and wanted to know if it's ok to install fcpx on that too?
Will all my projects from 10.6.8 be located on 10.7.5 automatically or will I have have to direct anything manually? Also is there any chance of corrupting current 10.6.8 projects?
Thanks

It's not a problem. FCPX looks for Final Cut Pro Events and Projects folders on any attached drive so all your projects will still be there. The only way you could have issues is if you edited with FCPX 10.0.9 and then tried to open it with a lower version. So long as all FCPX's are the same version, no issues.

I have a similar configuration on one system with 10.6 and 10.9; preceding 6 months , I ran 10.6 and 10.8. No issues with FCPX from doing that.
