Can't export/share

I just finished a rough cut of a three minute project using FCPX 10.0.5 and latest Lion release. When I go to export my project the Share menu isn't accessible. I don't have any additional software on this partition- just Apple programs. I am able to export projects that just have unedited clips in them, but the main project with many edits and transitions won't export. Why?

There is no background rendering happening either. I have also tried starting a new event and new project to see if that makes a difference. I have also trashed preferences.

Nevermind- seemed to have solved by relinking all event files with warning symbol. Still have no idea why these items get unlinked...
