Running towards camera and out of wall

Have googled, but can't find the right words. At least I can't find any examples. My idea is that the person comes running towards the camera, and as they disappear he will run through the wall (TV) and to the audience.

What is this effect called?

Not helpful. Not sure you
understand what I’m after.

It was only a joke.
I can't imagine what you are looking for.
Any example ?
All can be done, it depends what you want.
I don't think there is a plugin for this.

No, I can't find any examples. I have only seen it a couple of times. I just want to give the example to a friend of mine to illustrate what I want.

Picture you sit in front of a movie, and you see a person running towards the camera, and instead of the
person running passed the camera or comes to a stop, he comes out of the screen and into your lap.

When shooting the guy running at you be sure to include the guy interrupting his stride momentarily to a lower profile then launch / jump which would be the point where he emerges from the screen. You need some kind of visual 'catch' in the footage so it doesn't look like some kind of screen overlay. Imagine being at the photographic end of a running long jump,

The movie Last Action Hero has an effect similar to what you are describing.

Is not going to be perfect, but I will have he run towards, and past the camera, and than just figure out how
to make it look as good as possible.

But I really want to see som examples - which is not a movie from Hollywood. Just need a bit more
amateurish. Just to see how it is. But I can't find anything when googling. Not sure what to write in the search field.

"Once upon a time" … or "Grandpa tells from the war" … ;)
In the early 2000ies I had a website about "Dirty Tricks With iMovie" - I was very busy with it, tons of content, 'hacking' iMovie, QuicktimePlayer. Modifying iDVD etc - all hosted on sites.google.com - WHICH MEANS, it all went in the digital drain a while ago, when google decided in its wisdom to stop this free service :(

There war a chapter about a "WalkThruWall effect", a 'cheap' version, by simply using a tripod and CUT the the scene… and a more elaborated version, by rotoscoping on the virtual z-axis ('depth') the parts, which will vanish first.

… viewed 25 years later not convincing LOL!!
That 'diving into the wall' is not trivial…
