Good work. the message is great, if only that message would ever get across to the people that need it. that's a whole other story though. only thing I would say that could be worked on was the realism of the effects. but even then, it belonged in the style of the piece...so, to make the effects more realistic would just be a challenge rather than to help the video.

Hi muddygun,
thank you very much for your interesting comment. Appreciate.
Happy you like the movie.

Yes, about the effects, i agree. It's a long story to tell but that my english can't allowed me to do in an understandable way.
Sorry for that.
But, since the beginning of the project, we wanted a kind of "cartoon" style, so if the effects are not really realistic is not an issue for the "look" of this movie. It's not a drawback for the message also, so...

Thanks again.
Best regards.

Bonjour Frédéric,

This is an excellent job, really. Anyone can see that you have put a lot of work into the preparation of this video and this pays off.

As to the effects: I do agree with Randall, although I only have a problem with those in the beginning. When Jeanne d'Arc comes riding up in flames the fire effects on Jeanne make the picture look "cheap". I will be very honest: when I saw this I wanted to stop watching right away. But I'm glad I didn't because the rest of the video shows that you really have a lot of talent.

I'm pretty sure the first shots would be as effective, or even more effective, if they did not have any fire effects at all. Because your picture is excellent on itself. Sometimes (many times) less is more. But for the rest: chapeau and keep up the good work!

Hi Ronny,
thank you for your comment.

I'm glad about what you said.

About the effects, yes, my big disapointement also concern the fire.
As i said to muddygun, it's a long story.

But for this movie, i think the fire is necessary. For several reasons that, again so sorry about that, my english can't allowed me to clearly explain my vision.

But, you're totally right for the others things. It's "cheap".
But, first goal was the message, so we decided to let the movie like it is.

Thanks for sharing your opinion.
Regards.
