So what can you do to save disk space after you've finished a project, but you have too much media to consolidate?
Media managing in FCP by consolidating does save a lot of space as it only takes the clips used on a project. But what if your project consists of long clips and you've only used small parts of them?
This is where the Worx4 X app helps out. It makes copies of used media from an XML and trims the clips during the process. You can of course add user defined handles to clips to give you a bit of 'wiggle room' if you need to reuse the media. (Think adding dissolves in a new project etc.)
We have covered Worx4 X here on FCP.co many times, but as we stumbled upon this tutorial, we thought it would be worth publishing.
One final thought, should it now be called Worx4 as Apple has dropped the X?
