Multi-stage colour correcting of S-Log3 footage in Final Cut Pro.
We could say this gets a post because of the rather clever dig at Adobe Premiere users in the first couple of minutes. It made us chuckle, but Evan Edinger's tutorial is worth a watch to see how he handles Log footage in Final Cut Pro for his 600,000+ YouTube followers.
How many color wheels do you need on one clip??? Quite a few. Evan goes through each stage showing how he builds up his look from multiple corrections and multiple masks. A lot of good tips in there, especially the use of a grey card and reading a vector and waveform monitor correctly.
