I have my new nMP at last.
Attaching the HP LP3065 30 inch monitor to is via a thunderbolt connection to a DVI adapter, I am only getting low resolution screens offered. Has anyone any idea how I can get the normal high resolution screen that this monitor is capable of providing and used to provide on my old Mac pro? |

What sort of DVI adaptor? High resolutions would require dual-link DVI, and hence a dual-link-capable adaptor.
The standard miniDisplayPort-DVI dongles won't cut it. Apple's own dual-link adaptor is notoriously flaky, if memory serves, but I think third-party ones are available. Check they're compatible with 2560 resolutions. |
