My old editing setup was a 27" iMac with a 24" older Cinema display. She is an I5 16gb ram but getting old and slow like me. I have now got a I7 16gb Macbook Pro, when I am in the studio editing can anyone recommend a 27"+ monitor. I know I could get a new Cinema display but I can't justify the cost. Obviously I have HDMI and thunderbolt.

Someone recommended a Dell monitor but couldn't remember the model.

Thanks for the info, I have decided to use my iMac as my screen for now. I have just been told that I will be getting a MacPro in August, so I will be looking again once we have that.
